Visiting Greenville

Day trips to the beach

Greenville is about 80 miles from the North Carolina Outer banks. You can rent a car and be on a sandy beach within two hours. Late September and early October is a great time to visit the coast. The weather is still warm and the crowds are gone. Fort Macon State Park features one of the closest beaches to Greenville and is also a great historical site to visit.
