ACM SIGDOC 2025 Conference

Lubbock, TX | October 24-25, 2025

Visit SIGDOC’s Structured Authoring and Content Management Committee website for learning and curriculum resources. They are developing resources to support instructors teaching structured authoring:

  • OASIS DITA tooling, editors, maps, and topics.
  • Docs-as-code tooling, templates, and best practices.
  • Component Content Management System (CCMS) usage and best practices.

All resources are open source and licensed under the Creative Commons CC BY-NC. This means that you are free to download, modify, and re-distribute all articles, sample source code, and tutorials.

The committee is comprised of industry professionals, college instructors, and technical writing program managers. We seek additional members to provide the following:

  • Curriculum pilots.
  • Instructional reviews of existing materials.
  • Content development for new technical and instructional materials.
  • Leadership in new programs, e.g. online workshops and visiting speaker bureaus.
