Professionals and researchers at the cutting edge of practice and theory come together in the conference of the Special Interest Group on Design of Communication (SIGDOC) to discuss topics such as information design, user experience, content creation, and documentation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Attendees will:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Attend one of four hands-on workshops on cutting edge topics in design and research.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Experience two keynote talks from leaders in the field discussing diversity and inclusion in the tech industry and broadening the boundaries of design.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Choose from over 23 panels and presentations.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Have access to the published proceedings highlighting the latest academic and industry research in communication design.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Connect with other professionals and academic researchers from across the world.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Attendees can choose to attend Friday-only for a reduced rate or 2-days for the entire conference.
