Submission Guidelines–Posters


Posters are a less formal presentation of work in progress, theories, experimental work, new concepts, late-breaking research results, or work that is best communicated in conversation. Poster proposals may describe original research or novel designs. Successful applicants should bring their completed posters, up to 1x2m in size, to SIGDOC 2015 where they will be displayed at a special session during the conference. Proposals not to exceed 250 words. Final extended abstracts not to exceed 2 pages summarize poster in ACM SIGDOC conference format.

  • 2: Maximum number of pages for final extended Poster Abstract

  • April 30th: Deadline for Posters

  • June 1st: Deadline for “Camera-ready” posters/extended abstract revisions

Keep in mind that these are only illustrative examples: we encourage authors to structure and scope their papers as they see fit (within the parameters of the submission guidelines, below). And we encourage submission on a wide variety of UX design and research topics, not just those addressed in these samples.
