Interactive Posters

Interactive poster presentations enable researchers to present late-breaking results, significant work in progress, or work that is best communicated in conversation. SIGDOC’s lively poster sessions let conference attendees exchange ideas one-on-one with authors, and let authors discuss their work in detail with those attendees most deeply interested in the topic. Poster proposals may describe original research or novel designs. Successful applicants should bring their completed posters, up to 1x2m in size, to SIGDOC 2014 where they will be displayed at a special session during the conference.

Submission guidelines

Interactive Posters should be submitted by May 25th via the conference submission management system. Submissions should be written in English. Submissions should not exceed 2 pages, including figures and references, and follow the ACM papers template. The results described must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. The poster proposal must include the title, an abstract of up to 150 words, and keywords. Do not include author names or affiliations. Accepted interactive poster submissions will be made available in digital form to all conference attendees, and are planned for inclusion in an Extended SIGDOC 2014 Conference Proceedings archived in the ACM Digital Library.
